What:

The primary intent of this substance abuse-related curriculum is to provide an educational experience primarily for non-native staff members of non-tribal programs. Although this curriculum focuses primarily on Dakota, Lakota and Nakota groups located in South Dakota, it has the potential to be adapted to reflect the ways of other indigenous groups located in other states.
This curriculum contains 19 modules that requires approximately 22 hours of instructional time and may be offered for professional continuing education hours.
